The initial program registered 1,000 pediatricians nationwide who were willing to commit themselves to breastfeeding support and education. Those who enrolled received a complete kit of information (questions to address at each visit, tracking charts, and much more), including pamphlets to place in their office waiting rooms, letting their patients know about their commitment to breastfeeding promotion.
