Losing Myself to You

You pull me to your sphere
Of influence removing layers
A jacket, a scarf, shoes
And so on until I remain
Barely cold, exposed to your whims

You loosen tight braids
And let my hair caress me
Warming until you reach and snip
Me until I'm bare
Skin smooth as skin
I shiver more watching you
Through lashless eyes

Next to go is skin
Peeled swiftly I am unprotected
Aware of wind and pain

Then my muscles gone
I do not lift a hand
Or move my lips in protest

Next the senses I no longer
Need them they only tell
Me what you will do next

As you strip me of veins
And organs I lose life
Then bones and I no longer
Stand for you my support gone

What's left is marrow, essence
Then that too you sweep and
Sprinkle to the wind
